Rubes[1] (also known as Horuses[citation needed]) are enemies that debut in Mighty Bomb Jack. Their name comes from Rube, a slang term meaning an awkward and unsophisticated person, and their alternate name comes from Horus due to their resemblance to Horus as a falcon.

Mighty Bomb Jack

In Mighty Bomb Jack, they have been redesigned to look like fat, electus-like birds and are now called Rubes. Aside from that, they serve the same purpose.
